Adam + Emily

When I first met Adam and Emily, I remember leaving the meeting having laughed A LOT! Late last year the three of us hopped over to Stradbroke Island for their engagement shoot, and the same thing happened - we laughed A LOT! Needless to say I was REALLY excited for this wedding day because #models, and also because the couple held their wedding at St Johns Cathedral in Brisbane City. In the words of Mitch during our location scout at the Cathedral “Im pretty sure the Queen got married here”… What a spectacular venue. On the day, English Adam and his groomsmen [complete with suits from London] scrubbed up brilliantly. Emily looked absolutely breathtaking along with her gorgeous girls, and her little niece and flower girl almost stealing the show with her endless posing in front of the camera and gorgeous smile [seriously calm the ovaries Dee!]. The rain started to pour just as Em arrived at the church, but she was still all smiles. The ceremony was beautiful, and the brides clip-on train looked magnificent in the massive cathedral. After the ceremony, the couple were showered with rose petals and well wishes from family, and most of their photos were done in and around the cathedral [giving the 4pm Friday traffic something to stare at!]. Further photos were taken at the city’s botanical gardens, but were cut short with impending torrential rain. The couple held their reception at Blackbird on Eagle Street, with glorious views of the Story Bridge [which looks amazing, even in terrible weather]. The reception had a modern vibe to it, with hand made perspex name tags for each guest [made by the groom], table numbers and seating charts, as well as handmade cookies by the couple for their guests, and the most epic dessert table I have seen! Speeches were funning and charming [Im a sucker for British accents], with a cameo from Aussie thongs by dad in his speech, and ended with the infamous shoe game and dancing into the night. Adam and Em, thank you SO much for sharing your wonderful day with me. Seriously I always have a good belly laugh with you [generally AT you Adam], and you can call me a massive fangirl of Mr + Mrs Moss. Happy one month anniversary loves. xxx
